A fabulous way to make your already amazing missi roti healthier with the addition of spinach, is by making Missi Roti Palakwali! Serve it with a sabzi of your choice or simply serve it as it is, kids will love it too!

Ingredients
2 cups gram flour
¼ cup spinach puree
2 tbsps oil + for brushing and greasing
1 medium onion
¾ cup whole wheat flour + for dusting
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
Salt to taste
1 tsp chaat masala
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Butter for basting
Method
Heat a Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT) and brush with some oil.
Finely chop onion and place in a bowl. Add gram flour, wheat flour, green chillies, salt, chaat masala, turmeric powder, spinach puree and 2 tbsps oil, mix and knead into a soft dough using water as required.
Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Dust them with wheat flour.
Grease one palm with oil and another with water and spread the balls into medium size rotis.
Place the rotis in the Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT), keeping the wet part underside, cover and cook till one side is done. Flip, cover and cook, basting with butter till the other side is also done.
