Pizza Tartlets are a fun, bite-sized twist on classic pizza. Crispy pastry cases are filled with rich tomato sauce, melted cheese, and your favourite pizza toppings, then baked until golden and bubbly. They're quick to make and perfect for snacks, lunchboxes, parties, or an easy family meal.
Ingredients
Olive oil, for brushing
6 slices of fresh white square sliced bread
1½ cups of Napoli-style sauce
8 bocconcini balls, torn
6 black olives sliced
200g kabana, sliced into 2 cm thick rounds
Basil, to garnish
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a muffin tray with oil. Using a cookie cutter, cut bread into 12 large round discs and arrange in muffin to form a nest. Brush bread with oil and then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes to set and dry out.
Remove then add Napoli sauce, olives, bocconcini and kabana slices. Return to oven and bake for a further 10-15 minutes to melt cheese.
