Rich, fudgy, and packed with coffee kick, this Espresso Martini Slice is the perfect dessert for coffee lovers. Layers of chocolatey goodness meet smooth espresso flavor with just the right hint of cocktail-inspired indulgence in every bite.
Ingredients
500g coconut biscuits
100g butter
1 jar hazelnut & vanilla spread
50ml espresso
50ml coffee liqueur
300g dark chocolate
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup whole coffee beans
¼ tsp dried chilli flakes
Method
Grease and line a slice tin with baking paper.Crush the biscuits in a food processor or with a rolling pin until fine.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and hazelnut & vanilla spread, stirring until smooth and combined. Add the espresso and coffee liqueur and stir through. Add the crushed biscuits and mix until everything is combined.
Place the mixture into the slice tin and press down evenly.
Melt the chocolate and olive oil in the microwave or in a glass or metal bowl over simmering water. When smooth, stir in the coffee beans and chilli flakes and pour evenly over the slice. Place into the fridge to set for at least 2 hours before slicing.
