Crispy on the outside, soft and flaky on the inside, this Fried Paratha in Cinnamon Sugar is a simple treat that’s seriously addictive. Warm paratha is fried until golden and coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar mix that melts into every buttery layer. It’s crunchy, comforting, and perfect for satisfying those dessert cravings without much effort.
Ingredients
4 frozen parathas
¼ cup white sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 cups cooking oil (for frying)
Method
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, ensuring the oil reaches no more than halfway up the sides of the pot. Heat to 180°C over medium heat. Combine the white sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
Cut each frozen paratha into 8 wedges, like slicing a pizza.
Fry the paratha wedges in batches for about 30 seconds, or until puffed and golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a tray, lined with a paper towel.
While still hot, sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
